Matthew Moran, Ph.D
megRD Fitness Advisor
Doctorate in Kinesiology

Matthew Moran serves as the megRD fitness advisor developing and monitoring customized exercise protocols. He received his undergraduate degree in kinesiology (the study of human movement) from the College of William & Mary (Williamsburg, VA; 1998) and his Master's and Doctorate in kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA; 2002, 2005). Matthew's driving philosophy behind exercise adherence revolves around goal setting. Without approriately set goals any exercise program is destined for failure. Matt's interest in exercise started through his extensive runing career. A lifelong runner, Matt was a high school All-American track athlete and just recently was the top American in the Athens (Greece) Marathon. He appreciates the grinds of daily exercise routines and understands the demands of juggling exercise with a career. During his time at Penn State, he also served as a volunter assistant cross country and track & field coach. Although he has coached many national-caliber athletes in high school and college running, Matt has organized successful exercise programs for many megRD clients.
